1. Các số tập hợp

Chúng được thành lập bằng cách thêm -aine vào sau một từ chỉ số đếm. VD : douze => une douzaine, dix => une dizaine, vingt => une vingtaine, ... Với centaine và miller ta có thể nói : une centaine, un millier, des centaines, des milliers, quelques centaines, quelques milliers, ... nhưng không có deux centaines, trois centaines, ... Trừ douzaine VD : Je voudrais acheter deux douzaine d'oeufs. (Tôi muốn mua 2 tá trứng.) Các số tập hợp thường đứng trước de + danh từ. VD : Il y a une vingtaine de personnes dans cette salle (Có khoảng 30 người trong căn phòng đó.) Các số tập hợp thường biểu thị sự xấp xỉ. VD : Il y a une dizaine d' années,... (Cách đây khoảng 10 năm,...)
